TOURMALINE PROTECTIVE CRYSTAL GRID FOR YOUR HOME
By Creating crystal grids, we can harness the energy of specific combinations of stones. This grid design is a way to build an energetic “interface” using tourmaline and selenite to ground negative energy. This works by the stones transmuting negative particles to positive, then absorbing toxic energy to provide a positive protective seal/shield and outcome.
Crystal Grids are a great way of patterning energy to correct imbalance and dispel lower or negative vibrations.This is not only just electromagnetic frequencies, but also psychic/metaphysical, emotional energy, geopathic stress and even residual ancestral energetic events.
The reason I’ve chosen black tourmaline for this recipe, is that black tourmaline (Black Schorl) is considered one of the best crystals to use against harmful electromagnetic fields. Although it is a silicate, it can transmute energy. It has powerful piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties.
Crystal choices for your grid does not necessarily need to be the exact combination I am suggesting. You may feel the need to add other specific crystals to this layout.

LAYERING THE ENERGY:
if you have lodestone, hematite and your budget can stretch to shungite (preferably shungite with the highest carbon content you can afford i.e. Elite noble shungite). These would be awesome to add to your grid, the more the merrier.
The only “rule” i would suggest is to avoid adding too many silicate based stones such as fluorite as they are energy amplifiers, which defeats the whole purpose. As you don’t want to be amplifying the energy you are wishing to transmute.
SIZE- In terms of protecting against electromagnetic frequency with your tourmaline the bigger the better!
Inside or outside ? its your space and you know it best, go with that feels right for you. Some prefer tourmaline outside and selenite inside, all inside the choice is yours. Before getting started please be mindful of small children and animals when placing your crystals- remember small items are a choking hazard for small babies , children and pets.
GRIDDING YOUR HOUSE- SETTING YOUR GRID:
- Hold all your crystals in your hands.
- Blow your breath over the crystals. (Your breath is a powerful energetic cleanser).
- Close your eyes.
- Take three deep breaths.
- Raise your crystals up in front of your brow area (Third Eye Chakra).
- Focus on your desired result, using visualisation and emotion.
- Make a statement of your intention like, “I ask/program this Crystal Grid to protect this space from EMFs and all unwanted energies.
- Place the larger pieces of Schorl/Black Tourmaline in each of the outer corners of your house/ property or room. In most cases four stones will be sufficient. If you have an L shaped or other shapes, more may be required.Its not necessary but you can also place smaller pieces of tourmaline either side of your windows and door openings.
For a basic house grid just the outside perimeter is fine, there is no need to do every individual internal room within the building.
This can also be scaled down to your workspace, office, cubical or even a single room
If you live in an apartment there is no need to do the whole building- just the corners of the room will be fine.
If you have more than one floor, place the grid on the ground or lowest floor.
If the ground floor is not your largest floor then you can grid the widest floor. Or you may choose to grid all floors.
You can also cover the property by putting the Black Tourmaline crystals in the outside corners. They may be buried in the ground, if you wish.
CRYSTALS AND INTENTION:
By placing each piece with purpose, thinking of why you are doing this and projecting what your intended outcome/result, this is setting your intention.
We have a conscious or unconscious intention when we start working with crystals for a purpose. This energetically connects us with each other to create a protective shield.
Crystal Grid Activation :
Activation charges or programming the crystals with your stated intention, so they can do their intended work for you. Its all about setting and sealing in the intention and connecting, activating the energetic pathways between the stones.
Spending time connecting with the grid you have made helps keep it activated. Some people like to activate the grid by taking a quartz point (or kyanite, or selenite) & connecting the stones by tracing a line beginning at the first stone to the last. Regularly ‘connecting’ with your grid keeps the energy strong. You may occasionally feel the need to smudge or add to the energy using sound via a singing bowl. There are actually no rules, go with your intuition.

Turning it up a Notch With SELENITE
Selenite is one of a very few minerals with the specific metaphysical properties that make it capable of clearing and re-charging other crystals. Not only is Selenite useful for clearing negative or unwanted energies from crystals and other stones, but it also shifts unwanted low level frequencies and energies.
Selenite is a crystalline form of Gypsum. Comprised of some of the lightest elements on earth (calcium, sodium, oxygen, and hydrogen), Selenite vibrates to a very high frequency, and for this reason, is an extremely powerful light working tool It absorbs and transmits positive energy. making it an exceptionally energetic, and versatile. It does NOT ever need to be cleared or cleansed. It is self-clearing, and self-charging. It is also important that Selenite should never be placed in or near liquid, as it is water-soluble, and will dissolve over time.
Using your selenite:
A raw wand formation i feel is the best as it allows the flow of energy to connect between each stone. Think of it as a bridge between your protective tourmaline corners- linking the energy from one to the other, effectively forming an energy shield. For larger rooms you may want to place 2 pieces but one will suffice. To strengthen the energy again you can place more tourmaline at either end of the selenite
Extra Placements.
Placing either tourmaline, shungite, hematite , magnetite by your electrical equipment to help shield against Electromagnetic frequency. To deflect radiation energy from electrical equipment such as TV’s , computer monitors, modems, wifi router etc.
Needless to say precautions such as unplugging electrical equipment, placing your phone and iPad on airplane mode when not in use help too. To reduce or eliminate wireless internet penetrating your house, physical body and aura field try either turning it off or popping it on a timer to lessen your exposure.
